How does it work?
Magic operates between the 3.6 L Pentastar V6 thermal engine and the 130 kilowatt on-board generator. The first produces mechanical energy which will then be transformed into electric energy by the generator.
This energy can be used in two ways: it can charge the battery once it is out of power, or it can provide wheels with more power through the Electric Drive Module (EDM). Given that the electric drive module also acts as a transmission and inverter for the four-wheel drive system mechanism, there is no direct connection between the wheels and the thermal engine.
