What's new for RAM, Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep in the coming years

At a glance

As Stellantis reinvests 13 billion dollars across the many brands it owns, RAM, Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep lineups welcome several new additions.

  • Each of these lineups plans to add new electric vehicles over the next few years.
  • RAM brings back the RAM Dakota and the RAM TRX, and adds up to 25 new models.
  • Dodge introduces the Charger Daytona and several high-performance models.
  • Jeep brings back and adds several models, along with an overall increase in production.
  • Chrysler should introduce several new models over the coming years.

13 billion dollars of investment within the Stellantis family

Over the next few years, the parent company Stellantis announced a 13-billion-dollar investment to fuel its growth in the United States.

Even though this investment mainly targets the American market, most of the impact should be felt on our side of the border.

This represents the largest investment in the company's history and should lead to roughly a 50% increase in U.S. production across the different Stellantis brands.

As a result, we can expect several new models and the return of some classics across the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and RAM lineups.

Dare forward 2030

This investment is a very important step in the Stellantis Dare forward 2030 strategy.

Originally planned as a full electrification of Stellantis vehicles by 2030, the plan has been rethought to still include gasoline powertrains, while making notable progress toward electrification.

Presented in 2022, more news about Dare forward 2030 should be available during 2026.

Electrification across the brands under the Stellantis umbrella

Even before the next Dare forward 2030 updates, we are already seeing several electric vehicles appearing in the Chrysler, RAM, Dodge and Jeep lineups.

Those who cannot wait will already find several electric vehicles in 2026, including:

  • The 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S
  • The 2026 Jeep Recon
  • The 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona
  • The 2027 RAM 1500 REV

In short, whether you are looking for a sedan, an SUV or a truck, the manufacturers in the Stellantis family can meet your need for a modern and greener powertrain.

RAM: an all-new Dakota and the arrival of the long-awaited RAM 1500 REV

RAM is one of the lineups that will offer the most new models over the next few years.

We can already expect the return of the RAM TRX and the RAM Dakota, plus the arrival of the RAM 1500 REV, which will no doubt be among the best electric trucks on the market.

Electrification: the remarkable RAM 1500 REV is only a start

The RAM 1500 REV spec sheet reveals one of the most capable electric trucks on the market.

After an unfortunate delay, the RAM 1500 REV should finally arrive on our roads in 2027.

Its powerful electric setup targets 663 hp, up to 1,110 km of range and a maximum towing capacity of 14,000 lb.

Even if the performance of the model arriving soon is slightly lower, it will still be among the most capable full-size trucks in the category, alongside gas models such as the RAM 1500 and the Ford F-150.

Long-awaited returns for the Dakota and the RAM TRX

In addition, the American manufacturer has confirmed the return of the powerful RAM TRX for the 2027 model year.

Alongside this trim of the RAM 1500 comes an all-new RAM Dakota, expected to be an entry-level midsize truck that balances performance with daily driving.

More information on the latter should be available soon.

25 new models and trims

In total, RAM plans to unveil 25 new models and trims during 2026. So even if the Dakota, the RAM TRX or the RAM 1500 REV are not exactly what you want, there will no doubt be a new RAM for you.

Dodge: the ongoing quest for maximum performance at the best prices

On the Dodge side, we are seeing several models aimed at maximum performance, and the lineup should continue along this path.

In addition, some Dodge models will likely offer electric powertrains in the near future.

The arrival of the electric Charger Daytona and what it means for the future

Already, the 2026 Dodge Charger is available in Charger Daytona form, an electric vehicle rated at 670 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque.

Several Dodge vehicles should follow the Charger's lead, including an electric Dodge Durango.

In short, if you are looking for electric vehicles that deliver the kind of performance Dodge is known for, you will be well served over the next few years.

The Dodge Charger Hellcat could return in 2028

As the RAM TRX brings the supercharged 6.2 L V8 back to the RAM lineup, it is very possible that the same engine will be used to design an all-new Dodge Charger Hellcat.

Although nothing is confirmed yet, rumours suggest this model could be available in 2028. Performance enthusiasts may, therefore, have to wait a little more than a year for the return of one of the most iconic muscle cars.

Jeep: enjoying the great outdoors with the return of several classics

Jeep is one of the manufacturers benefiting the most from Stellantis' investment. The legendary American brand already has several innovations on the way, including electric vehicles and an overall increase in production.

Electrification: the Jeep lineup welcomes several new arrivals

The arrival of the Jeep Recon BEV is only a start for Jeep. This capable SUV offers a range of 370 km while delivering up to 650 hp.

Although it will be the first 100% electric Jeep SUV, it should not be the last, as rumours of a fully electric Wrangler are circulating.

In any case, it is certain that the Recon will not be the last electric Jeep, even if we do not yet know what the next one will look like.

Return of a few models and trims such as the V8 HEMI

On the gasoline side, the Jeep Grand Cherokee should see the return of the HEMI V8, which has been absent since 2023.

The return of this engine shows how the Dare forward plan has evolved. It now aims for a balanced approach that includes electric powertrains and powerful gasoline engines.

Chrysler: several new models should arrive

For a few years now, Chrysler has been known mainly as a maker of minivans, a category in which it excels.

Although this focus should continue, it appears that several new models are also on Chrysler's agenda.

2027 Chrysler Pacifica: the ongoing evolution of the minivan

The 2027 Pacifica promises to deliver more of everything that makes the Pacifica one of the best minivans on the market.

A new exterior design, marked by an illuminated radiator grille, elongated headlamps and a rear LED light bar, refreshes this already modern vehicle.

It will also offer new features, mainly in safety, such as ParkSense-based camera activation and a blind-spot indicator triggered by the flashers.

Impressive Chrysler models moving from concept to reality

In addition, although nothing is official yet, Chrysler appears close to unveiling new electric vehicles based on its Airflow and Halcyon concept vehicles.

The Chrysler Airflow SUV is a very interesting compact luxury SUV that would be an excellent addition to the automaker's lineup.

A new platform that allows multiple powertrains

Whatever the names and forms of the new Chrysler models, one thing is certain: they will use a new multi-energy vehicle platform.

This platform is designed to let the automaker easily develop vehicles with gasoline, hybrid or electric powertrains, while keeping a single common platform for the model.

It is clear that Chrysler intends to present more options than ever before.
